Evidence-based practice
Remaining current with pediatric speech, language, and communication research.
A little about who I am, how I think about care, and what you can expect from working together.

I'm a speech-language pathologist, and I created Integrative Speech & Language to offer families a more personal, thoughtful kind of pediatric care — the kind built on real relationships and a genuine understanding of each child.
I think about communication as something deeply connected to the rest of a child's life: their relationships, their confidence, how they participate and learn, how they regulate, and how they move through an ordinary day. That whole-child view shapes everything I do.
My work is grounded in current evidence and shaped by warmth. I take time to understand what connection looks like for each child and family, and I design support that feels natural, affirming, and effective.
A few beliefs guide every partnership at Integrative Speech & Language.
I look beyond any single skill to the whole child — how communication connects to their relationships, confidence, learning, regulation, and everyday participation.
Parents and caregivers know their child best. I see families as essential partners, and I want the priorities that matter to you to shape the work we do.
Children are supported by many people. I collaborate with educators and other professionals so everyone involved is working toward the same goals.
I value continuing education and careful clinical decision-making, drawing on current evidence while staying responsive to each individual child.
Licensure, certification, education, and the clinical settings where I trained.
Every year I invest in continuing education to ensure the families I serve benefit from current research, thoughtful clinical practice, and collaborative care.
Remaining current with pediatric speech, language, and communication research.
Expanding knowledge in breathing, oral function, craniofacial development, and interdisciplinary care.
Supporting organization, self-regulation, attention, and independence.
Helping caregivers confidently support communication outside of therapy sessions.
Continuing education in oral development, feeding, and related pediatric concerns.
Learning alongside occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, physicians, educators, and other professionals to provide comprehensive, family-centered support.
One of my core values is remaining a lifelong learner. I believe families deserve care that reflects both clinical experience and the latest evidence — not approaches that haven't evolved with the research.
Every partnership begins with an initial consultation. Share a little about your child, and we’ll take the next step together.
